Thanks, that story is one of my favs. I don't know how many ppl I heard talking about it but no one knew it was me. Kinda like how  at Rag XX I got in trouble for "excesive sheild bashing"... is that possible at RAG?

At Rag this year my Captian Martus and I were playing in a Rag pick up battle. He was pitted agianst three Gusties. He takes the first with a blow to the chest, then the second with a wrap shot, while yelling SMITE! the whole time.(What do you expected us to say we play paladin personas.) Just then a flail comes down at him and he is unable to block due to having his sword still lodged in the second gustie. He was for sure he was about to die till I run up sheild a blazing with the battle call SMITE! The flailmen turns to me missing my captian, then braces for impact. Little did he know, me being a 6'3ft 280lbs man he was about to fly. So I hit him at ramming speed sending him flying into the air. The best part is that was he landed in the creek. I felt bad but I at least helped him out of the mud and water. ^_^"

I remember you StrongHammer! Hey why don't you try ordering some boffer swords off the internet then try to recreate them. Also as for the situation with your friends and the two handed style. Just keep on beating them up and maybe they will realize that they need to make a shield! If they don't want a shield then maybe they can make a flail.
