He caught the nod in his direction as the man also nodded in another direction and picked up his fine glass freshly refilled with drink off a side table. Seem's he has many people here tonight he does not know, yet he acknowledges them. Interesting. He may be someone to trust in the near future . . . He fixed his fur-lined coat and kept his cane close to him. thooouugh I wouldn't say such a lavish party comes cheap. Where there's smoke, there's fire. He sipped his glass and made a slight face of bitterness, Ugh! How can humans drink suck potent filth?!? Makes me sick that I have to play off my guise while I'm here and not have a good ransacking while I'm at it.

He is stood against a post in the back trying to keep from being the center of attention with his big fur coat, rustic little cane made out of entwined branches, dark green shirt and simple brown pants. He looked almost like a commoner amongst the rest of them in their finest. So he kept to himself, but as the night has rolled on, he couldn't help but shake this feeling that something . . . was very, very wrong with this place

"Ah Amrin, been some time since we stood beside one another, good to see you on this excursion. Jem you look good always, but never the less, curiousity is mostly my reason for coming here." Dralcos gave a curteous nod to his former companions reunion. No sooner had Amrin let his blade sink into the wood, when Roadh's ears perked up a little at the sounds from the kitchen of hearty laughter and an aged voice.  Roadh leaned in a little, "Looks like our contract contact has arrived." As the innkeeper walked out of the back room, putting on his work apron and getting ready to help serve the regulars, all eyes at that table fell on him.

The innkeeper put his hands on his hips and gave a light sigh as he looked around the room. Seeing only regulars at first he wasn't very happy because they had the fewest coin around here. His countenance signifigantly brightened when he saw the 5 strangers, and walked right over to them to bid them welcome and a likely last farewell. "Evnin' lads. I take it you be the new batch of travelers 'ere for the mystery bounty eh? Welcome to the Wild Stallion, how can I help in your search for these . . . ghosts?"

Dralcos had found the way out but it would be short lived, as when excitement over whelms him he realizes he is not of his usual slueth form, much weaker, and less adjustable. He looks around to see if there was anything to help him reach it, but sees nothing majorly of importance and so decides to try and shimmy his way up. He braces his back and elbows against one wall and his feet against the other and attempts to scooch up the wall to the grate.

((was waiting on roadh but i do wanna keep this alive so we'll carry on))

"Less than a minute in from the rain and I find myself being treated to drinks by strangers.  To what do I owe the honor?" asked Spiderling to which Dralcos replied, "A friendly gesture that was extended to all outsiders that are here for whatever reason. And so hopefully we may have an extra hand if you've come for the same reason as we."

He took another swig as Tamiir asked, "What do you fellows know about the demons in the woods?" Dralcos slowly lowered his mug on the table, it had to be talked about sometime in their merriment. Dralcos too leaned in to keep quieter. "I've heard stories of these things blending in to the forest so well they can grab you by the feet if your not careful. That their worst form of attack is a clap of thunder followed by the bloody death of a comrade or two with no spear or blades making the wound. I've heard of it and passed it off as here-say, but more descriptions keep popping up, and I'm here to make sure no more chaotic energy takes anoter foothold should that be the case."

First he answered to Takiir's question then to Roadh's, "It would likely be so, seeing as we all seem to be jested at as soon as we enter. Only people who are ignorant of who you are will deliver such insolence. And no, I'm also from another land. I came to see these demons for myself and to prove to the wrold they are false ghosts. Only me and my own people are true ghosts of the forest."

Spiderling entered the tavern and most of the townsfolk took a quick look but he looks so plain in his attire they take him for one of their own and leave him be, but the huntsman recognizes him from somewhere. He can't tell where but he knows he's definately not from around here. Spiderling took a seat at the bar at the end by himself.

The waitress stopped by the three at the table, "Wha'll et be gents?" The huntsman smiles up at her, "A round on me for fellow travellers here, including tha man who just walked in, along with plates of that fine looking food please." He slapped 4 gold coins into her hand and she went on her way for drink and food for Roadh, himself, a new drink for Takiir, and Spiderling. As soon as she returned and placed the drinks in front of them, the man picked his drink up and saluted his table's company, "Dralcos Singol, at your service." taking a sip right after.

From the back of the kitchen a deep barreled-chested man's voice could be heard talking to the cooking staff.
13  General / Roleplaying / Re: Two Worlds RP on: February 27, 2013, 05:13:24 pm
((wouldve written yesterday but 503 error kept me away, anyways, here we go ^_^ ))

Takiir had been sitting in the tavern waiting for night to fall and after 3 hours time he noticed outside had become quite grey and dull, while the townsfolk were taking to cover. Night has finally falling, and now so is the rain as well. The rain was coming down so hard the mud off the streets was slapping up and hitting the lowest windows. He was watching the rain and eating the spiced potatoes and steak that was the meal of the night, when he over heard some men sitting in the center of the room. Their whispers barely reaching his ears, all he heard was, "Smith's gone too . . . Forrest men savages . . . strange magic sticks . . . waste of manpower fighting them . . ."

This peaked his interest, but as he turned to ask them, the door opened and in walked Roadh looking like a cat that had just climbed out of a river. Roadh drew all the attention of the regulars as he too took a seat just inside the door at an empty table facing Takiir. One older man near the center of the room spoke up as Roadh took his seat and shivered some water off himself. "Well, well, well. Look what the cat dragged in." Some of the others in the room gave low chortles at the gest of the newcomer.

Another man walked in just after Roadh had started wringing out some of the water out of his clothes. He isn't much shorter than some men but he definately wasn't from around here. He is full bearded, long hair that was matted to his head, and covered head to toe in furs that are also soaked from the downpour outside, and looked almost no better than Roadh did. He also recieved some flak from the townsfolk, the same man in fact. "Geeeezzz, them cats must be busy tonight." Some burst into pure laughter but most still kept it under breath as the man noticed Roadh and briefly smirked.

Speaking to Roadh, "Gets old reeeaaal quick, don't it?" Seeing he had a seat that was open," Mind if I join you? I'd rather sit with you than these drunkards. I hate townsfolk some times."

The small town of Urggrad was a small enough town as any can be. Unfortunately there have many stories of ghosts moving in the woods. Beings that seemed to melt into the earth itself and disappear. The mere sound of their feirce barking sounds are enough to kill even the strongest of men. These wide spread tales have drawn many adventurers here in search of wealth, fame, and fortune in return for a kill or capture of whatever is plaguing the woods. The townsfolk have tallied up their combined wealth of a lord's ransom (us dollar equivalent of $500,000) for anyone or any group of people to bring down the threat.

The posted signs have drawn your attention to the Wild Stallion's tavern and to speak with the innkeep about directions. He's only findable after dark, he sleeps during the day to keep the nightly patrons in line. The townsfolk have reached their wits end . . . watch yourself in here . . .

((a new start to an RP i had tried once before, a bit more imagination, and hopefully a better crowd. nothin' like a good possible warm up bar fight to get the ol' blood flowin'  ;) 8) ;D who's in? ))

Dralcos takes one last look around the room to make sure he didn't forget his staff. He takes it as a loss an decides to take the tunnel exit. He opens the coffin like door more and begins walking down the tunnel, and after taking the right turn, puts his hands out to keep hold of the walls. His vision sensory gone and his old eyes his only guide, he slowly staggers into the darkness.

((didn't mention it was lit so i did what i'd do if i can't see at night lol hug the walls ))

18  General / Roleplaying / Re: The Heist on: January 25, 2013, 03:58:36 pm
((I think it would be good for some health rping on the boards again, whatcha' say fellas? ready to get this show rollin again? ))

Dralcos watched how smoothly Amrin and Jem worked to get the guard distracted and hurried in after the guard and Amrin. Amrin picked up the keys and ask him, "Ready?"

Dralcos could only grin, "Finally . . . I can relax in this town." His staff disappeared into his hand, his skin darkened along with his clothes as they began sprouting roots. He quickly changed from his human from to his swamp mass self and his voice grew raspy and more hollow, "You've gained us entrance, now I shall find the way." Walking over beside the gaurdsman, he put a 'hand' on the mans chest, " Before someone finds this one away from his post, I'll have someone guard this entrance so we can leave quickly if need be."

A being rose from the floor, looking similar to Dralcos but the skull was bare and faintly demonic in looks, "Lilog, trust worthy as ever. Take this mans place and have a number of men in the crowd ready for us to leave in a hurry." Lilog looked at the man and became a complete copy right down to the 5 day shadow, the keys on the ring in Amrins hand, and every small flaw in his armor, "Will do."

Pointing to the lone lit torch on the wall, Lilog said to Amrin, "Your likely going to need that, the master has no need for light." and with that he bowed to all of them and went to his post outside the door.

Dralcos turned back to the tunnel and began walking, then turned right at the first fork, "This way Amrin, Jem, I can still sense up above so I can estimate where we are related to the castle itself, my influence is broadening as we speak, before long the castle will reveal any secrets it has."

*********************************************************

As true to Dralcos's word, the root, he had placed near the front gate sensed when it was being watched and would stop growing. Other than those times, it spread itself along every crevice in the stone walls from the front gate inward, creating a complete map in detail of the front of the castle. It continues deeper . . .

Granted, but the mead was made in 1357 and stored in poorly made bottles from the apprentice glass blower and they spoiled . . . in 1357.

I wish time flew when you were working and play seemed like it dragged on forever.

Granted, you are turned into a drow in form which bides you make a hasty retreat into the nearest cave. Though it would've been better if you had found a weapon first, because just as you look up to admire the stalactites hanging from the cobweb covered ceiling, a drider falls from from the ceiling and tears you apart for study in it's experiments. I wish I won a $200,000 lottery every year for life.

The look on Dralcos's face turned into a great big smile as they stopped near the front entrance, "Most inconspicous . . . clever . . . and sooo my style. Alright Amrin, you got the plan, you take the lead. I'll be right behind you."

To everyone but Whisper (still fearing some heavenly wrath upon his head should he dare again) he communicated. . . . backup incoming boys and girls . . . Amrin's found us a way inside . . .
23  General / Roleplaying / Re: The Heist on: November 05, 2012, 09:15:15 pm
Dralcos sat quickly against one of the walls of the alley breathing heavier than usual, "That's only gonna' be your concern. I don't need air to survive. I just need to ctach my breath for a second before I hear your plan."

Giving a few more puffs before the breathing slow down to a more managable rhythim. "There's I'd say almost a garrison of men in that one fortress, more than the rest of the city. This Trubo has definately got a keen sense to know something is going to happen tonight, almost like he planned it too. Either way, here," He holds out a small putty like object about the size of a small grape, "put this behind your ear and squish it slightly. It'll help us communicate with the others more directly through a link system I share with my minions back home."

Looking at Amrin with a gleam of delight in his eyes to hear his entry-way, "Now . . . what did you have in mind?"

*********************************

The spider thing Dom planted on Whisper quickly made it's way in between the layers of clothing up to his neck line. It lept and turned into a blot of goo again attached itself to the back of his ear with a light splat and planted itself with limited irritation so as not to disturb Whisper . . . too much. "Don't over react! . . . this is Dralcos . . . I've made these links so we can communicate more precisely . . . I hadn't thought of it until it was almost too late . . . "
24  General / Roleplaying / Re: The Heist on: November 03, 2012, 09:23:58 pm
Dralcos could sense their movement into the main rooms, which helped him see in his mind through the roots he had sent to be his messengers.

" . . . Dom . . . I know this is likely going to be a slight nuisance but . . . if these are to work properly . . . we need everyone listening in . . . the two spiderlike attachments on the inside of your basket . . . they must get on the other two and I shall give one to Amrin . . . that way all points are covered . . . now, to report what I've seen from here thus far . . ."

Dralcos did another count just to make sure, " . . . the 8 outside and 4 just inside the doors are obviously and clearly there . . . There are 10 more at the ready behind each pair just inside . . . He's smart too, had the barracks right there behind the main gates . . . with 40 men asleep, another 10 getting ready for shift change and 12 archers on the front wall alone . . . if the **** hits the gryphons wing . . . we'll be in for one danug of a fight . . ."

The energy it was taking to send Dom the images and the notes, was making the old man sweat a little, " . . . I can't see any further, so any guards on walk about in the maze of walls . . . or on the other walls that can run to their comrads aide . . . you'll have to improvise from there . . . I'll take a look around with the messenger roots, but their range is shorter than mine . . ."

Dralcos opened his 'eyes' and took a few deep breaths from being winded, as sweat dribbled drown his face in a few spots looking like rivers. Damn this fragile form, why won't it maintain cohesion while I chat without causing strain. It's not my energy levels though, those are fine, it must be the concentration I require for all three tasks. Must also be the physical age I gave my form . . . I'll have to take it easy on the images then, just speech. I think I'll meet back up with Amrin though, just so I don't give myself away.

Dralcos's elderly form hobbled and used his staff as a crutch heavily, back to the alley way him and Amrin had agreed upon as a meeting place after the alotted time.
25  General / Roleplaying / Re: The Heist on: October 30, 2012, 11:42:43 pm
Dralcos had got the count just as the other three infiltrators drove up in the carriage. Impeckable timing boys . . . and my my, don't you all look like a bunch of idiots hahahahahaaaaa!! He couldn't help but smirk at the ridiculous way those three looked. Dralcos noticed Dominick in sort of a fea-sprite looking get-up and had the perfect idea. This'll keep us in communication with each other and able to coordinate something should the party get roudy.

The root Dralcos had sent towards the building lifted it's tip enough to aim for the basket Dom carried, and shot 3 little root darts with great accuracy hiting the basket as he moved so he didnt feel them. The Perfect . . . Sorry Dom but this might feel a little weird . . .

Two of the darts turned into spiders and lodge themselves into the side of the basket for now. The thrid dart melts down and wiggles it's way along Dom's clothing ot touching his skin. It then slid in behind his ear giving off a itching sensation as it attached to the back of his ear beneath his hair and kept it well hidden that way. Dralcos spoke through the attachment in whispers into Dom's ear, " . . . can you hear me Dom? . . . It's Dralcos and yes you knew I'd do something to creep you out . . . just dont itch the lump on the back of your ear . . . this'll help us coordinate our efforts . . ."

((For those of you with an actual lump on the back of your ear, no, i've not been hearing or tracking you . . . or have i? XD
anyways, i figured this would be the subtlist way to get them able to talk to one another and relate info Dralcos's telepathy with other plants is world wide really so i figured this would make sense ))
26  General / Roleplaying / Re: The Heist on: October 28, 2012, 07:34:14 pm
((alright, ill post later giving the count to Dom after he drops the bean to let you guys know the count, then we can resume hopefully on a better note, it's gotten dead like so many others *holds up paddles* CLEARR!!!!))

28  General / Roleplaying / Re: "Decisions" (alternatively, "Left or Right?") [An individual-based RP] on: October 22, 2012, 08:08:33 pm
Dralcos crawled slowly over to grab up the key, his first thought was to try the door, but more than likely, the coffin in the corner held in whatever needed this key for. He figured he'd at least try the door first and see what came of that.

((not much else i can post really lol, i get key, i try key out lol ))

Well I'd take all the junkies getting so high,With their needles and bongs and sticks made of thaias,

'Cause I would be Drug-Free Boy.
30  General / Roleplaying / Re: The Heist on: October 18, 2012, 12:36:17 am
Dralcos sat at the water fountain occaisionally getting a sip out of the handful of water he grabbed from the pool. 8 out front, with 12 more at the ready just inside the doors, and 6 more playing cards even, just beyond the right side guards. Nicely guarded I must say . . . from ametuers anyways. I need more info though, beyond those men I cannot see, but I think that can be remedied.

From Dralcos' right foot, a root grew out and away following the most direct path closer to the front door. Now let's se- . . . oh my . . .

((I leave the numbers beyond those front doors men up to you Milo, make it interesting? lol))
31  General / Roleplaying / Re: "Decisions" (alternatively, "Left or Right?") [An individual-based RP] on: October 17, 2012, 09:32:38 pm
I don't like this . . . **** disappearing on me and all, like my own powers turned against me or something . . . Dralcos hesitantly reached to see if the glass ware could be removed, and pulled back slightly as he was about to touch it. No, I dare not leave anything behind if it could help me later, I will take it.

He picked up the stool and he then began pulling at the glass case in an attempt to get the key. Holding the stool under his left arm he began tugging on the casing with his right.
32  General / Roleplaying / Re: "Decisions" (alternatively, "Left or Right?") [An individual-based RP] on: October 16, 2012, 05:15:18 pm
((kk, I'll put it as a test of the gods entrustment kinda' thing, diminshed powers to over come great odds :) should be fun lol ))

Dralcos finally rose from a slumber that had taken him quite by surprise, but to even more his surprise he was . . . human. He was dressed as one of his regular guises of an old man and covered head to toe in shaman look-a-like furs. He was still of his superior strength he could tell, but his frame was frail. Where the gunates danug am I? And who was capable of capturing ME?!? It doesn't matter now though, I have to get out of here before they come back for whatever dark purpose they seek with me. He reached for the door and was expecting to move right through the cell door with it being wood. The wood resisted. . . . no way . . . could the gods have done this?

Dralcos began to panic, he had never gone without his powers into any sort of struggle before. His powers chose a bad time to turn off. Dralcos then tried his other abilities, and all but heart moving, creation of weapons, and sensory vision were gone. Even those that he still had were burdened. He couldn't 'see' beyond his own cell but had some poor regular eye-sight that at least he could tell a guard from civilian at maybe ten paces. His heart couldn't move anywhere outside his chest so a chest shot was to avoided greater more so than ever, and his mace, spear, and shield creation were slowed and took some energy to produce them. His superior strength was too still intact but even with that help it wouldn't get him anywhere trying to rip the door appart. So stealth, and precise timing were now his allies instead of the usual kill as he wished, he now had to use priority strikes and decieve whomever came his way.

I'll need to conserve energy for later so I guess weapons are out of the question for now. Let's see what might be in here then shall we? After shaking his head at the pine box, he laid down the wooden staff that had for some reason been left with him like a crutch, and knelt feeling along the floor for any possible creases or crevaces for something to be hidden under.
33  General / Roleplaying / Re: The Heist on: October 15, 2012, 11:59:10 pm
Dralcos once more became the frail old man after amrin began his ascent of the building. He shuffled over to the squares water fountain and looked to have a coughing fit as he took a seat on the edge. He used some roots to work into the cracks of the square's tile to greater expand his sense of people.

He did just as he said and focused on the main gates and guard room near the front doors. The 8 outside the doors in their protective formation were obvious of their numbers. This guy obvious boasts quite a lot of wealth if he has 8 men at the front door rather than 2. Let's find just how many are still awake, and learn their scheduale. We may be able to use it to our advantage if the guard changes are used right.

((I'll leave the count to you Milo, i dont wanna say an army, but neither say 6 more men behind the front doors. You let me know))
34  General / Roleplaying / Re: The Heist on: October 14, 2012, 08:46:56 pm
Dralcos still in human from, and still with his glass eyes in his head, he followed Amrin. "Well then you and me shall be the best of cowrokers. I too prefer the silent kill when it suits the kill, but I prefer a much more . . . destructive blow." He forms a root handle out of one hand with a wicked black stone at the end surrounded by roots forming a mace head. "This and a shield are my prefered choices. I doubt that too much blood will be drank my our weapons this time, but I don't trust our employer . . . I feel like I know him, but from where I have no idea."

He disolved his mace back into his essence, "Either way, this place will definately be a challenge to map, even with my abilities of sensing, they are limited as any mortals is, in one way or another. Guards are easy to detect even outside of my sensory range, Lot's of weight in their steps give them away, like the two walking through the alley over there," pointing out two guards across the square walking away from them, "and the guard captain with guard escort of 6 men coming into the square for basic patrol behind us." Thumbing over his shoulder and pointing out perfectly where they were without looking back as they walked out into the courtyard from another road.

Pointing to Amrin, "You seem to be the classic stealth assassin, whilst I'm the stealthy tank heh-heh heeh." giving a good chuckle at the memory of past assaults. "Well, if we're gonna look about the place and not look like conspirators, I think I'll shimmy on over and have a seat at the fountain. I'll get a guard count and see how many others are sleeping behind closed doors. Meet back here in saayyy . . . an hour?" He paused and waited to see what his partner would do.
35  General / Roleplaying / Re: The Heist on: October 13, 2012, 08:22:44 pm
Well, soomeone I don't already trust already knows I'm here so might as well give him my real name. In his low gruff, and tired old man's voice, he replyed, "I shay not utterr it 'ere, for many may trry sometin desperete if they knew I was 'ere." He glanced around slightly as he walked through the pub for the front door with Amrin and Jeymus in tow. "Eve' since my little disappearing cuop trrick, 'bout 10 people in tha' rooom began taulking 'bout me'," as he passed the door fame, "an' 20 people's heart rates 'ose greatly."

Turning down the same alley the man in red had taken him to and continued his slow shuffle, but lost his rough old man's voice. "I'd rather avoid attention until this is over with," his back straightened so much so he no longer needed the staff but still kept it, "and be long gone by the time anyone finds the bodies we are likely to create."

Stopping in another much larger alley, after crossing the next street, "If we are to be successful, we need to know what strengths we each have, so that should something arise one of us can't handle alone," looking to his 'followers', "we will know whom to call for help. Understand?"

Reaching out his right hand for a handshake, "I'm Dralcos Singol, The Swamp King Elemental."

((yeah, got them in the 'spell' pouch he has hidden in the furs, his guardians left when they started back, and he's also back to hunched over keeping the weakened look, just if you were wondering lol))

The old man follows him reluctant to still trust him, but pulls out the spare eyes and pops them in, Stupid mystery man made me lose my best pair. Either way, let's get this job over with, so I can dig up some dirt on this guy and stick it to him for once.I hate being known by someone other than chosen friends, makes me nervous as Danug.

He shuffled after the red robed man to see the newcomer, and that he was right on the money, a young lad with a cat had joined them. He continued on back to the table dragging a small stool over with him seeing as his had been taken by the young man. Kept quiet and his staff close to himself.

Would i have to severely diminish his powers, or would I be-able to be myself but you'd through him a lot of hard-balls to challenge him?))

((sorry, had a short work day for a safety meeting then chores got in my way lol sounds like a good story so far ^_^ my turn lol ))

The old mans sick grin from earlier is now very gone from his face. He then stood straight and another foot taller than his hunched over form. "And if you think you're gonna pull the wool over my eyes," as two forms emerged at each end of the alley blocking most intrusive viewing from outside, obviously of his summoning and with their backs to the pair, "you had better try harder than that, because I dont need or even have eyes as you likely already know." The two glass eyes rolled out of his head onto the ground and shattered.

Nodding his head to the tavern, "A young man with a cat almost just botched your plans, having just borrowed several key items to your big theft from the group still at the table. Specifically the map and one bag of mapping 'beans', but oddly enough the theif's heartbeat has barely even raised which means he's extremely cool under pressure. They've all resolved the matter and are now meeting back at the table but it appears you have one more . . . heh-hem volunteer."

"Now I have a few questions of my own for you glorious leader. First why hire us to go in for you when obviously we are to be scapegoats should something go wrong? What do you fear will go wrong? Secondly, with it being a mostly stone building my usefulness decreases seeing as I don't and can't move through stone making my vantage point a smaller area than the very floors themselves. I can however put homing roots down to track movement and greater my sensory range, but where should I be doing my overviewing from? And Thirdly . . . " He leaned in closer to his employer, getting very serious, "You seem familiar to me somehow, but I can't pinpoint it, so I'll ask the next logical thing . . . and don't try to lie to me. You know I'm my own personnal living truth spell."

Pointing a finger at him, " Who are you. . . and how do YOU . . ." then thumbing at himself, "know so much about me . . . and who I am?"

The olds mans countenance from behind his wooden tea cup almost instantly turned into a twisted, and almost psychotic look creep over his face as he was addressed by their employer. Lowering the now empty cup, he set it back on the table, and with his pointer finger pushed the cup into the table making it disappear.

"Eythere yor a good gess laddie, or it was sheer dum' luck that you knew tha'." Looking at the others and giving a slight wink to Dominick, then back to their employer. "I'll tak' ya' up on tha' walk now laddie." Slowly turning and using his staff as his crutch he shuffled back to the door and stepped out waiting for the man to show up for the walk.

A skilled magic user he must be to sense me even in human form, I'll have to play it carefully, lest he knows my weaknesses. The old man rubbed his chest a little as he waited.

The old man looked at the new faces as they approached the table and began seating themselves as well, in almost a shocked look. Leaning towards the robed man, he whispered, "Sorry your frends din' sho' up sooner laddie, I'd 'ave found me self 'nother place to siht." holding onto his seat and his staff, "But I ain' leaving mah siht though. Me legs be too worn out from me travuls, to walk much furtha'. "

The old man began pulling out a small drinking cup, a water pouch, and a small purse-like bag that smelled strongly of mint and other assorted herbal remedies mixed into the pouch. He took 2 pinches from that bag, put them into the cup, and added the water, mixing it with his wrinkled finger. "Aaahhh my grean tea," looking to Dom, "make it meself, as good col' as it is woam." Seeing the rest of the gathered almost giving the stink eye, he concluded, "Oh Don' mind me wee lads, me legs just crampen from the day. You can tolk 'bout whatever ye' wanto, and I won' say a word 'bout it to anyone."

He took the tea in both hands and scooted back from the table a tad so as to look like he was compliant. He looked slightly over his tea cup to look at Gerard/Gorbag. Gorbag, you stitched up piece of goo. What the heck you been up to?

((Run down shanties, sour beer and rat infested streets . . . i like this place already lol ))

An elderly gentleman adorned in furs and dirt covering him almost head to toe walked. His face was frail looking and boney, almost like he had been resurrected as an undead already. He had a crooked staff supporting most of his weight as he shuffled in the door to the shady tavern bringing a small pile of mud in with him off his shoes. He stopped and looked around as if looking for someone and apparently found them as he shuffled over to the robed figures table.

He reached out and grabbed the chair with it's back turned to the rest of the room, he was breathing heavy and asked, "Ye' moind if I . . siht 'ere sonny?" Before the man could answer him, the old man sat. "Don' mind if I doo."

The cat got in close to the crystal as Dralcos and Baird got ready to kill each other, and reached to claimed the half buried prize. As the feline just started to touch the stone, the ground began trembling and the earth itself began shifting and turning around the stone like the earth around the sun. The earth rose around the stone as if it was raised like it was on a pedastal.

It began to humm loudly even enough for the humans of normal stature to hear it. It rose to a deafening tone but just down the path in between Dralcos' position and Amrin's hide-out spot, the air began to ripple a few feet off the ground. The Humm became a force as the stone released from the dirt spire and hovered inches above it. The vibrations began pushing everything and everyone back as it gathered power and the ripple grew wider and more erratic.

After a few more seconds of blasting pulsations every one of the effects from the stone stop all together, as the ripple tears open into a surface that looks as though it were looking down on water. The portal stood open before them with calm waters.

**************************************************************************************************

Dralcos was rocked by all that began as he saw the black movement near the stone touch it. He fought to stay in place but the force of the pulses kept pushing him back. He sank his roots in deep to ensure he was here to witness what happened next. As soon as the portal was opened, all he could do was stand in awe of what he had just witnessed. This is impossible . . . Chaos and Nature abilities should not be able . . . to even touch each other . . . without killing each other off . . . who could do this? Dralcos sensed into the bushes from where the cat had come from and sensed two light and calm heartbeats in the bushes.

Looking back to the man he had already faced, "It seems you have nothing to do this," turning back to the bushes, "but neither do you two there in the bushes." Stepping closer to the portal, Dralcos stats, "It's so hard to comprehend, I'M still reeling from the very thought of this being even possible."

((welcome to the rp baird  ;) ))

"Is that a walking tree?" Comes from Dralcos' right side and turns his attention there, thinking that he must have been the one to start this weird thing pulsating. "So . . . were you the one who set this gemstone of choatic and nature energies?"

Dralcos stooped a little as he got ready to lunge at this newcomer. "I will not allow more perversion such as this to occur!!!"
46  General / Roleplaying / Re: What's your name mean? on: October 02, 2012, 05:43:36 pm
Dralcos Singol - name means nothing, I came up with it from thinking of how someone made or roots, mud, and stone would talk so I though like an ent almost but more watery.

Draalllllglossss is a better way to read his first name, and SSSssinggollllll for his second at least the way his underlings would say it.

(( alright, we'll see where we can get with this, hopefully you guys are still up for it, and hopefully more will join as we go ))

((timeshift to the arrival point))

A quiet glade in the middle of the west road, is most certainly too quiet. The forest almost seems alive as the pulse from the middle of the road at one point has a small stone that just barely shows through the top of the dirt. It was black with small green and black swirls of energy but the pulses were almost blasting the trees back in every direction like strong storm gusts.

*********************************************************************************************************

Dralcos could sense he was getting close as dawn arrived on this part of the earth, the very ground he traveled through was shaking as if fearing what was happening. . . . I don't understand . . . Gaia herself seems to fear whatever it is that has revealed itself . . . He felt he got close enough to walk freely above ground to find the source directly. He senses out where the trees are screaming out to him from being beaten on by the pulse.

Dralcos arrives at the pulsing zone where the trees are getting beaten back but he is somehow unaffected. He can 'see' in his vision, where and what is pruducing the pulses, but is very confused by what he sees. Who could make such a sick perversion of nature?!? A nature infused Warpstone?!!?

((and no, the pulses dont affect the heroes, just the land.))

I for one would rather not see it die, even if you believe you s*** more than a 2 dollar hooker, give it a try, there have been plenty of people to show something on here, give it a shot, my own drawings still surprise me how good they come out sometimes lol
