Holy moly! I had not idea... sheesh.

At any rate, those are pretty vague descriptions of the games and also, they're exotic games most of us have never heard of. I'd like to make a record of both, one long list of proven games that are tried and true.

Morlock:
You can also find this "exotic list" on a certain wiki that can not be mentioned here.

Fayne Erving:
Name of Game
Warlord Battle
Recommended Number of Players
This is another one of those games that can be played with anywhere from 3 to extremely large groups
Objective
To recruit every fighter on the field to your team
Rules
-The beginning of the match is a free-for-all environment.
-When a player is killed by another player, the dead player joins his killer's team after a 5 second rest on the ground.
-Any player in a team may recruit another person by killing them
-When a player is killed by another player, the killer has 5 seconds to tell his victim his team name. If he fails to do so within 5 seconds, the victim is now "free."
-Friendly fire does count in this game. As such, it is good (but not required) for fighters to compare team names team before fighting.
-A player that starts a team by killing another player is the "Warlord." If this player is killed by an enemy combatant, all members of that team are disbanded and free to make their own teams.
-A team member may not kill his Warlord through friendly fire.
-Players must shout "ALIVE" and shout their team name, upon joining a new team, Ex: "ALIVE GREENSKINS!"
Penalties
-Suicide does not result in leaving the team. A suicided fighter simply gets back up after 5 seconds
-Standard Edge of World Rules
-A fighter may not fight after he has been killed for at least 5 seconds
Player Qualities
All players are normal. This game plays best without counting armor.
End of Game
The game ends when all players are on one team.
Misc Info
For an added element, there may be one neutral player that is invincible, armed with a projectile weapon. This neutral player does not recruit players after kills them, merely frees them from the team they are on. This makes the game last much longer, as often the neutral player kills warlords of large teams. This added element requires the team members to take an active role in protecting their warlord.
This is a great game to get people to know each other as well, as a fighter will often be on two or three teams by the end of the game.

Lykos MacGregor:
Laevus,

I did the Valhalla battle at our last practice, increasing the teams from 3 each up to 8 with two teams.  I then closed Valhalla and let them fight to the finish.

They really seemed to like it.  Thanks for posting it.

I did some variations of the VIP as well, trying it two different ways.  It provided some good hard fighting, and hunting the "King" down.

Good job.
