Sir Robert Valcore of the Teutonic Knights:
sticky this please

peanutbutter:
i think these be two fun games but cant really think of good rules for them. First is like it but it is changed everyone is in the ring and the herald designates it. There can be several its if the group is larger. It basically has to get everyone on his team. second game is humans vs monsters.

Fayne Erving:
Baird I don't know if you read the thread, but this thread is for tried and true games that have been played and are balanced. This is not a game good idea thread.

peanutbutter:
sorry I didnt know didnt read the beginning.

Name of Game: Caravan Dagger Battle

Recommended Number of Players: 2, plus an innocent bystander.

Objective: To kill the other guy.

Rules: The two fighters stand side by side with some space between them. The innocent bystander throws a dagger between them. When that bystander says "Lay on" the two fighters race/grapple for the dagger in an attempt to stab the other person.

Penalties: A smack on the face for moving before signaled. Nothing beyond that.

Qualities of players: The dagger is the only weapon on the field. There is no armor.

End of Game: When one person dies of course.

Misc Info: A lot of rules seem to get pitched out the window with this game, so be careful.

We run a Viking Challenge which is basically just like that, except with four people.

However, the Challenge must be related to a body of water, fought near that body of water (Viking Champion of the Gulf of Mexico, Chip River, and HP Field Puddle are the ones I know to exist), and presided over by the current champion of that body of water. Puddles are an acceptable body of water if they are recurring, of significant size and present during the challenge.

Battle begins when the dagger first hits the ground.

Many a dagger has been broken by the Viking Challenge.
