Whee. Good advice, guys. I'm another lefty shieldsperson whose primary sparring partner is a taller righty, and I've been having this same problem. We're at the point where I can reliably take his arm as he legs me. Bah.
Blackhawk and all, d'you have any other advice for lefties? Perhaps this would merit a new thread...

1st- learn the three shots
2nd- get good at the three shots
3rd- watch video again and learn a fourth shot (that'll show 'em)
PS. come see me about the 4th shot, we need to keep it on the downlow so they don't make a video about blocking it.
