Just getting the rough basic details so it can get on the calendar.

Day: May 15, 2010
Location: Gravel Pit park North East Pa
Weapon check starts at 10 am.

North East, PA 16428

Event cost is $5 and I believe the food plan will be the same as last year. I will confirm that later.

But i want to ask. If i have my seige weapon built by then, would it be ok to bring it to the battle?

Oh, well shoulda mentioned I was planning a year in advance. 14 now turning 15 on the 26th of april. So still, the question of would that be a problem with going to events.

Was a great battle for us last year! So many people came, was a bigger turnout than I/we had expected.

So sad! I miss my little pathetic town with my lovely Iron Hills:D Wont be able to make it due to being in Vegas with Barad'dun.

Any ages can come to the event it is free unless you want to get food then there is a fee and any extra food that you decide to get.

To fight the main battles you have to be 16 years old.

If you are under 16 and part of a clan and have parent consent you may have pick up battles on the side. But will not be allow to fight main battles

It's mostly accurate, the place listed as the practice spot on that map is where the battle is, not the one listed for last years battle.

And I'm sorry, but if that's your favorite sledding spot then you need to get out more.

This event was a lot of fun last year - I skipped out in the middle of finals to go, and I didn't regret the decision.

The event cost has increased to $5. I have also edited that in the original post.

We are also able to accommodate vegetarians, we just need to know roughly how many will be attending before hand.

The battle breakdown is roughly

warmups

partner free for all - this battle is loosely based upon the dice battle from brushwood.

3 team bridge battle - hold the center for longest

control the flag - whichever team holds the flag at certain intervals gets a point

capture the flag with 2 forts

end of planned battles

These are just generic descriptions of the battles, they each have their own twist to them.
