Let's see... I am making a crapload of rocks out of this tempurpedic mattress and foam chair I found on the side of the road, some sweetrolls for Holmgang tomorrow, and some summer garb which will serve the purpose of a sample of what I can make. It will also have a cowl with a cool looking trim. The outfit is sort of based on the looks of Bladez's RPG character from the Guild

And finally, I need to take pictures of my tudor style hats and put them on Etsy.

Yeah, lots to do...

Getting my brake lines fixed. The road to Britannia Faire broke one and I had to drive 7 hours with a rupture brake line. Since i have some time I'm running through flag designs in my head. Whats the best way to put an image on a flag, paint or stitch?

Tomorrow there's a presentation on how University of Wisconsin-Green Bay students grew their own linen. This morning I listened to academics argue about whether Tolkien intentionally drew on The Silmarillion while writing The Hobbit.

Not my work, but wanted to share. My mother just completed this and gave it to me. Hand-thrown and painted kylix. She's on an ancient Greek crafting streak, probably from all my jabbering about it to her. She's putting together another kylix and a kantharos, too.

trying to decide weather or not to take the left arm completely off for a string attachment setup or leave it as is. the rings i put in and tested yesterday, they'll hold well, especially how the dap is dry making a solid base for the rings to stay in.
