I just do one step at a time like building the box around the core then one layer of striking surface, etc. I won't try it with 6 at one time though probably 3 at the max.

It's been a day...

1st: Found out my employers/partners deceived me to the tune of 400,000 dollars last year.
2nd: Resigned position and now rethinking my employment situation.
3rd: Purchased materials to build 30 belt flags for the Levy of Aachen, should keep me busy the next few nights.

Thinking about watching the Hulk. You know you've had a crappy day if the thought of watching the Hulk movie (any of them) seems like a good one.

Having a better day than 2 days ago.

Luckily I've got a CDL license to fall back on (there is a shortage of several hundred THOUSAND drivers in the US) and the pay is decent. Might start running some consultant work on the side for companies that want to improve their supply chain costs.

Looking forward to Saturday. The Levy of Aachen will be some fun and it'll be good to see some of you. Back to belt flags...

Finished wrap two of my first mace. It's 28" of pure sexyness. With a stabby (can't decide if I want one, might weaken the tip) it will be 30". Can't wait to use it this weekend.

Terrible terrible picture quality, but here's what I've been working on the last couple nights. I started with Alric's bocksten tunic pattern (minus gussets and the front and rear gores) and added a split down the front, clasps, and a hood. I was going for a cassock-esque final product. Ignore the mundane clothes underneath plz. Belt is a sash of black cloth until I can find/make a nice rope belt.

Also, I have the power to appear baked in EVERY SINGLE picture that's ever taken of me.

Kyrnn- I did a sculpture first and then worked on it.

Tooka- Just dipped the armor grade leather in water. Stretched with my hands, dried with a heat gun on low, soaked again and worked with my hands and the butt of a sharpie. Next steps.. cut the eyes out, leather craft it, add some shading with some woodburning and then a light tint.

My eyes blinked from the light as I emerged from the cave this afternoon. I saw civilization and "normal" folk. How I hate them. I want to go back to the cave.

Not sure how I feel about Blackhawk carrying Malice around on his belt. I might get jealous of Malice being that close to my man...
