I can offer some advice you're more than welcome to thumb your nose at. When I wanted to start learning lefty fighting, I started doing mundane things lefty to start with. Brush my teeth, open doors, eat, use a mouse, it really didn't matter. If I thought about it, because obviously using your dominant hand is a sub conscious choice, I would switch what I was doing to my left hand. I found then that when I went to practice and started lefty training, it was a lot easier.
Also I would practice a move very slowly and think about each and every muscle and motion that went into that move and then tried to mirror it on my left, but you probably already know/do that!
