What can non-Fighting parents do? According to the rules, a parent must be on-site at all times for the sake of responsibility. While I'm fighting, what can my parent do besides take pictures and watch the fight?

I have a question on this. Do the parents of minors have to camp at Badon too? For them to be able to attend? I thought that was only for Ragnarok this year because it was the campgrounds rule.

Set up your tent in the dark and proceed to party until you fall asleep. Then check in at troll first thing in the morning. I have done that at many, many events. If you are lucky.... you may find happy people willing to help you set up.

Ok. I was aware of the notarized waiver but i wasnt sure if that rule from Ragnarok was following to Badon this year. Im 30 years old so i never had to worry about it. But i have a couple minors in my chapter that need to worry about that. And im trying to get them ready and going. Thanks for the info.

So this is sorta pressing and any reliable info would be greatly appreciated. First, i won't be arriving till late Friday night, that shouldn't be a problem, right? Second, I'm super new to all this (Just started a week ago) Will there be weapons and garb for sale there so i'm not the only guy in "modern" wear? Futhermore, I may need weapons, are they also for sale there? And if it's not to much, could you all spitball some prices for me so i can see how finacially screwed i am? =P Thanks for the help everyone, hope to see you all there. (P.S. Normaly with any other thing i don't wait till the last minute to get things straight, but i didn't learn about it till the last minute and let's face it, there's no way i'm turning down this oppurtunity.)

my unit-mate, Libby, will have a booth selling garb and satchels.  her garb is good quality.  i think kilts start at $35, all the pleats are sewn in, so no pleating by you, and if the creases fall out you won't have a problem ironing them back in.

you can easily make quickie garb yourself, too.  get some dark scrub pants, a belt, and basically cut neck arm holes in a pillow case.  look up "beginner garb" in the search function on here in the Garb or General Discussion sections and you'll probably find lots of pictures of things you can replicate in two days.

there will be weapons for sale, but i don't know those prices.  you can probably borrow some at first, too.

it depends on who is selling. I know you can get some decent weapons for 35-45 bucks. But if you follow the eryndor blue tutorial, you can make your own basic weapon in 2-3 hours

I was talking on the cell phone (Distracted Shopping - Class 5 misdemeanor) while spazzing out over 50 cent discounts on energy drinks yesterday ... UM ... Well ... I went crazy like a woman at DSW clearance sale.  Problem is, I bought too many drinks and it cut into my gas money fund.      I learned my lesson.  Cell phones are dangerous!

I will be getting rid of large (16 oz) energy drinks at $1.50 (Reduced price) for gas money home from Badon, several different brands, and several different flavors.  Even a picky person liked several of the flavors.

Massage or energy drinks, yet another reason to come to my tent.  (Devilish snicker)
