Date: Feb 5, 2011
Place: Blue Spruce Park, Indiana PA. Blue Spruce Lodge
Troll opens: 10am, as always, minors must have a notorized waiver from a legal guardian in order to fight.
Cost: $10 pre-reg, $12 at door. Covers fighting, lunch, and a feast dinner.
Will post address to send in for pre-reg when it is available
Weapons check opens: 10:30am- if a weapon fails, we will let you know why

We will have a few tables available to vendors. Cost to set up is $10 on top of troll fee or a donation of an item worth at least $10 to our silent auction. If you wish to set up outside, there will be ample space for vending tents, though you must bring your own heaters. Send a message to chapter president, Tom Mason Sesko, on facebook if you are interested in vending.

Hope it isn't the same weekend as the tournaments this year.

We arranged the date of the event to be about 2 weeks after Father Christmas and 3 weeks before the Tournaments. hopefully there wont be an issue this year

Awesome. Glad to see it was thought of before picking a date.

Hoping to make it, along with some of them gtg cats that stayed at my house last year. Maybe more, who knows.

I plan on attending, fighting, and vending (I'll talk to Mason sometime). I'll do my best to bring out some new Valinore as well. Had a blast last year, and hoping for the same this time around.

The lodge is heated but has limited room for vendors. Vendors are allowed to bring their own tents with their own heating if they want to set up outside. For example, those selling jewelery or other small things will fit well inside. Those selling reds, spears, shields, etc would have more room if they set up outside.

Krak 'Eads stand at seven members strong, I didn't count most of them in until they got their information into the unit. I'm happy to say we'll have a strong presence at Winter Event, since a lot of us will be riding together.

If it isn't one thing, its another. Last year the tournaments were the same weekend, and this year this event is scheduled the day before the Superbowl... and the Steelers are now playing in it.

I have plans to be gone the whole weekend, so... it looks like I won't be going this year. Sorry guys, hope you have a good event.

yeah i saw last night that it was this weekend. too many things going on in Feb. luckily next year's Winter Event will be planned about a year in advance so anything else that gets scheduled is purely because other people want to take away attendance from us.

You just made my day, and I called off work on sunday just for the fact of I will hopefully be in a lot of pain from this event, and I want to see the Steelers get their number seven.

Thanks, thanks, and more thanks to the good people of Maethodoron who made this event happen... planning, running, heralding, cooking, running troll, weapons check, etc. And thanks to everyone else who helping with weapons check, etc. And thanks also to everyone who kept fighting all day and made me so horribly sore.

Seriously, fighting in snow while it's raining, and continue to fight for hours after? I like us.
