I should have some assorted ladies garb, trinkets and whatever else I find while packing... plus I'd happily trade backrubs! I like anything shiny or pretty as well as food. Much like Scheiny I'm interested in the tiny person garb. Hopefully I'll see you all there!

Outhro, you will have to talk to Simon when you get there about where you can set up the BTP. I know he's rearranged Merchant's Circle a bit. I have also talked to Lady Feri and she does not have the tarp. So unless you ended up with it and didn't tell anyone, I have no idea where the tarp is.

I am going to bring my own tarp. It is small, but it will spread out plenty for about half a dozen people comfortably.
Lady Feri's Tarp I dont know about. I left Saturday morning. Every time I would put the tarp away it would be in the same corner of the trailer to always be available the next day.

Hm... probably should have thought about this. I am looking for a knife (medievally type looking), a spiral arm bracelet, some kind of portable not too breakable water holding thing, and a helmet. Oh and surprises.

I'm bringing Indian-style garb appropriate for someone significantly smaller than myself, black suede knee-high boots in a women's size 10, some jewelery, bedsheet-type fabric, hookah parts, and many chunks of blue obsidian, along with anything else I come across in the next couple of days.

Awesome! Any idea what sort of goods you're looking to trade it for? I'll have some jewelry, some garb for a medium-smallish person, some feastware, a barely-played pentatonic cedar flute, an ocarina, and maybe a penny whistle or two to trade.

Frothgar, it's a pretty terrifying ocarina, of the carved-with-contorted-animalistic-faces-from-the-depths-of-the-jungle variety. I've already offered it to three people, and all of them said it would give them nightmares.

I love trinkets and shiny things, but I'm getting more particular about 'em, since a lot of times they just end up as unused clutter. Is sad!

Alric and I have been sorting through boxes in PA, and we've turned up some fun but imperfectly-glazed bits of pottery. That's definitely coming to the trading post!

Magnus, last year there was someone at the BTP from 10 or 11am until dark, all day, every day. it'll be on or by Merchants' Circle somewhere.

i always gaze longingly at pottery but i'm nervous about packing it. how do you guys transport it?

We usually roll it up in soft things (garb and towels and blankets that we're bringing anyway), taking care that there's no pottery touching unpadded pottery. Some stuff might get packed with foam (or smallish pieces of garb) in boxes that are small enough to keep it from rattling. I know Stell has a groovy system where she carved out holes in blocks of foam to transport her cups and stuff, which I thought was really clever.

We've had a few things get chipped, but mostly on the thin edges of cups and such. If you drop stoneware onto a hard floor, it'll break, but it's really just as sturdy as the coffee cups you have at home.

2 of the helmets are dag legal, (ones an old millitary helment and the other is metla of some kind) and the gorget is SCA legal so its also good for dag

spent about 5 minutes cleaning up my closet and found a few things for trade :
Large hand and a half steel sword
2 wooden chests (Small, ones about 8"x4"x6" with a hidden compartment, the other is a bit bigger about 14"x9"x10")
2 Pewter medallion's (one griffin, one celtic cross)
assorted dagger and knives
some sort of bowl type thing i traded for last year cus i thought ti was neat lookin

tomorrow ill really dig out stuff and have more, im interested in baubles and small trinkets
