Both of those games in Jersey going into OT is a sign of the rest of the series.. Game 3 in LA tonight is gonna be epic as ****. I wanna see Kopitar make another glove save xD

Even though I have only watched game 2,3,4 so far, I think NJ has been the better team based off puck possession time and shots on goal and time spent on the power play (even though there power play is horrible). They just fell apart toward the end of game three. LA has been the luckier team during these games and it looks like it caught up to them last night. I'm a LA fan but unless they have a 1st period blow out next game, it is not looking good that NJ has their stride back. Buckle up folks, we may have a good series on our hands.

I don't like that people can wager points, it rewards luck, rather than consistency. I will be rock climbing and doing yoga tonight. I should make it home in time to see the end. We'll see how much energy I have left, climbing from 5:30 to 7:30, yoga from 7:30 to 8:30, then climbing till we collapse...

Congratulations to Flyers West...er, the LA Kings.

I was rooting for them as my Western Conference team the whole way...was always a fan of Richards and Carter, used to watch them in the AHL when they won the Calder Cup together on the Phantoms under none other than John Stevens. Even though it was probably better for the chemistry that the Flyers moved on without them, I was shocked and sad to see them go.

It's really bittersweet, though. Richards and Carter were the "leaders" on the Flyers, yet obviously were much better suited in supporting roles on the Kings. Guess that goes to show just how deep the Kings are when it comes to their forwards.

Loved Simon Gagne since he was drafted by the Flyers as well, and Justin Williams too.

Not to mention Terry Murray was the old coach, John Stevens is an assistant, and Ron Hextall works in scouting for them.

You know what the difference was? Jonathan Quick. Must be nice having a superstar goalie!

I'm sure Richards and Carter are thanking Paul Holmgren (Flyers GM) for this now.

I was trying not to sound like an entitled Wings fan by making it look like Parise was signing with Detroit too. But yanno, take it however you and your bum knee wanna

@Atalan - We're over the roster limit on forwards as it is.. we need to do some serious shufflin' if we plan on keeping everything together. I'm not entirely sure what Kenny's doing on the forward market. Sammy has a NTC so we can't move him even if we wanted to (unless, of course, he waives it for us) but there's speculation we could be making a big move via trade. Some people want Franzen and his monster contract gone to land someone else and clear up a bit more cap space to see if we can really snag both Suter and Parise.

We have bigger fish to fry on our back end with Lidstrom and Stuart both gone. Our top tier D are Kronwall and White; then we've got Ericsson, Smith, Quincy.. which doesn't alleviate my defensive breakdown nightmares.
