Ok, I'm fairly new to Dagorhir but I'm interested in attending Ragnarok this year. I don't have garb yet, my weapons are not up to par yet, and I'm trying to get a job so I don't know if I will be able to get time off from this still non-existent job.

Other than the things already listed, the main problem keeping me from attending Rag is transportation. I drive a truck that sucks down gas like you wouldn't believe and I have such a horrible sense of direction that I get lost driving to the gas station in the town I've lived in my entire life.

What I'm asking, in a round-about way, is if there are any Dag people around central/east Texas, specifically Cumby, that would be willing to let me go to Rag with them. I'm able to drive a bit to hook up with y'all, I'm just looking for some people I could ride with the majority of the way, and possibly even camp with, if everything works out and I'm able to go.

I have vague plans of going to Rag, but I have a lot of variables, too. If it turns out we both can go (and there's room in the car), I'd be happy to carpool or caravan with you! As the time approaches, we can figure out camping arrangements. Personally, I'd like to pitch my tent with Aratari (to make visiting with old friends easier), but it'd be cool to camp with fellow Texans or even Okies, too.

Calean, if everything works out we can definitely carpool together. The other guys in my unit have their lives "organized" though and want "back-up plans", as if organization ever helped anyone do anything, so I'll keep looking in case stuff doesn't work out.

Haven't met 'em, yet, but they're fairly local. Just east of Greenville - about an hour's drive east of where I live. I'm pretty excited about them showing up and wanting to play!

Now if I can just get myself into gear, we might actually have a chapter in which to play...

I just set Greminkull(Dead Wabbits) Up with Necron(AoM) out Houston way, so we are going to be seeing something going out that way soon.

IF you guys get things rolling soon, and the guys we got going in Austin, we can have things rolling hard in this state.  I really want to see more Chapters come up.  I mean I got a grand location to hold a small event, and when everybody gets stable, I would like to get it all rolling in that way.  

Seriously, a good ole fashioned texas meet and beat.

Classes start on Monday over at the college and I'm gonna start talking to some people that would be interested in this sort of thing, and maybe even some that aren't  

If I get enough people interested, I may go ahead and start my own Chapter if SOMEBODY doesn't get motivated. *Begins praying Calean won't Bluff Check me and instead uses this as motivation to get the Chapter organized*
