Every year we here at Maethodoron have an event at the beginning of the fall semester, we're a college realm so we use it as a way to catch up with one another and recruit new members this year the Welcome Back event will be Sunday September 11th, and we'd like for anyone in the area who feels like fighting to show up! It's free, there won't be any organized food , but there will be drinks (it's a dry campus, sorry Mac) Fighting starts at 2pm in 'the oak grove' (it's across the street from 1052 Oakland Avenue, Indiana, PA 15701)

Well, some kids died a few years in a row from drinking too much, so they banned booze from campus.  Now they die off-campus.

I can't say since I'm not part of it, but from my standpoint, if they're using it as a recruitment event as well as a catch up event I would wear my garb.  That and its more comfortable to fight in and holds up better than street clothes :-)

I agree entirely, but I'd rather not be the dumb*** to show up to a practice where they DON'T want garb.

I'd wear my full Ranger kit all day every day if I could. Most comfortable clothing I own, and I'm a goofball to love armor that much.

Haha!  Never thought of it in the reverse Rainebow.  And my armor is chain, rather comfortable just a little heavy to wear every day.

People can be unpredictable. It's best to think of as many scenarios as possible so you don't screw something up.    My armor is a multitude of chain, brigandine, leather, and plate. Light as a feather after getting used to it.

Most of our welcome back events run until it gets dark, I imagine that this one will be no exception.
