Has anyone got any positive or negative things to say about this site? I was thinking about ordering some Turkish patterns, and wanted to see if any of you had used them before, or if you had a different site to suggest.

They are very well known for their amazingly researched patterns. A lot of people protest about the price of the patterns, but I have also heard that the pattern quality and the included research notes make the price very fair. It should be good.

I've heard nothing but good things about Reconstructing History. I've never purchased any of their patterns personally, but from what I've heard they are very well researched.  There are a few patterns that I'd like to buy from them, but I haven't had occasion yet.  Sometimes they have bundles of several different patterns from the same period or region that knocks a few dollars off buying each pattern individually.  They also have sales every so often.

i know the owners. i bought a pattern and did it myself with no problems. pretty easy to follow and gave a ll history lesson. contact them if you have size issues or questions, they are very helpful.

Like everyone else, I don't have personal experience ordering from them, but they have a wonderful reputation over on the armour archive, both for having good products and for being willing to talk you through any confusions you might have.
