Cailte, why are you using the Clan MacAisling motto?
Ancient oaths of comraderie.
But the MacAisling were never a friend to any Irish. Moreover, they are very much the enemy of the Dál Riata, having been forced to seek refuge among the Daoine Sidhe by their migrations. The dream we seek to protect is a dream of Caledonia free from any Irish or Christian influences.
(Note to any curious bystanders: "A gleigh an t-aisling! (To protect the Dream!)" is a fictional motto of the entirely fictional Clan MacAisling, which is all my own invention created circa 1984. I just noticed that Cailte has started using it in his signature line. I'm not saying he should stop, I just think he really ought to know where it is coming from.)
