Summer Slaughter IV - August 17th - 19th Doe Lake Campground, Marion, FL

SUMMER SLAUGHTER IV, the Florida event that put all others in the state to shame! Imperial Atlantis and GTG Phantom combined to throw the best event ever hands down. We want to personally thank each and every person that came out this year from all of us. Especially all the out of town fighters! Without you, there really is no event.
The event had little to no injuries, and everything was by the schedule, give or take 20min. Tournaments soon after starting ran by like lightning. Most of the tournaments lasted around 15-20min. Our scenarios were praised and enjoyed by the majority. Tri-Bridge, a new fight to SSIV, became an instant classic and Fire Sharks (Hell Hounds) was a blast. Islands was fun and we heard a few suggestions about the boats and island spacing that we are taking and applying to the next event. Osgiliath, for the first time was canceled due to people fighting so hard earlier in the day, and all that walking back and forth. That was perfectly fine and everyone got a chance to cool off in the lake and rest.
We also hear you guys about the spray paint and the field switching. Atlantis and GTG have chipped in to get a lot of rope and stakes for next year so you guys can stick around in one place. We listen and we want to make Summer Slaughter V even better!
I would like to announce to all of you SSIVs final attendance count from Troll. This year we had an amazing 186 people attend! Last years SSIII was only 70+ people. This is a massive milestone for Florida and you guys were apart of it. Thank you so much!
Thank you to all our merchants for an amazing raffle selection full of great prizes. Thank you Alric, Ilsa, Gorg, Gorgs Garb Girl, Laskiel, Spud, and Deland Armory! That was an amazing way to end the event.
