Since I shopped at fabric.com they have been sending me a lot of e-mail that I don't care about, but I look at it just in case I do.  Most of it is for fabrics and patterns I can not use.  They sent me this pattern for some sort of summer dress.  I thought maybe it might work as a tunic pattern or maybe someone else might like it.  It was free so, if anyone likes it ...   don't know how long it will work.

Silk:
It looks like a beach cover-up.

Um.. well I think it COULD be made into a sleeveless tunic pattern. If the elastic bits were taken out. But why use this pattern rather than a t-tunic-minus the sleeves?

Stellaria:
Exactly

I thought the "elastic" part was just a draw string.  I know some people are really comfortable with patterns that are printed on paper.  I know that the just measure and draw one is a little scary the first time.  The neck line looked a bit like a keyhole one.  Trim added to the bottom and cuffs is supposedly a good thing.  I have heard a lot about layers, so I was thinking it might be good as a top layer that showed off the under layers or maybe just as an under tunic.  The lower neckline would make it more lady like because the male Vikings didn't believe in wearing them.  I just got it in an E-mail and figured it might be worth showing.  Not knowing for sure, I just took a chance.  No harm, no foul.  :)
