New Unit Starting in Stafford, VA!!

Hear ye, hear ye!! Announcing a new Dagorhir unit starting in Stafford, Virginia!!
The new group is called, Kingdom of Valencia. Our group is based on the 11th century, Iberian city, of Valencia. We are in a time, between the ruling, of the Moors, and the eventual conquest by the Christians. Our people live in a wonderful time, that was influenced by the Muslims, French, Spanish, Germanic Tribes, Celt Iberians, Romans, and even the Orient. This will give future members a vast wealth of history to choose from, when picking their own personas.
We have decided to turn our efforts towards focusing on a more combat oriented unit, with a rank system, and structure. We have also come up with ways to encourage even non-fighters to earn rank, and to be active in our lands. As of this time, I will be the Campeador, of Valencia. I will be the land's King. Gwenaelle, my right hand, will be The Grand Vizier. All political and camp related issues will go through her. She is my Second in Command.
A little personal information to those who do not know me.... My fighting name is, Lord Freewynd the Red. I have been involved in Dagorhir for 27 years. I have been active for most of that time. I have been a member of 1 unit, for 26 of those wonderful years. I am now looking to branch out, and start my own unit.
Valencia will be practicing in the Stafford, VA area starting Tuesday August 7th. Location to be determined. As of now, I am looking for any like souls, looking for a home. If you are just looking to practice, with no strings attached, feel free! I loves me a fight!!

Three weeks before I move to the University of Mary Washington in Fredricksburg, and they make a unit, with a well established vet leader, a good story, and 15 mins away from the campus.

Awesome! I am glad to see your interest in Valencia. Like I said, this is a new project, and one that I will not give up on. Without people, it will not work.
