The world of Tolkien had a word for the final battle. The Dagor Dagorath! The end of days, when Morgoth returned and the world would be broken.  It was the final struggle between good and evil, between chaos and law.  The Vikings had a word for it too. Ragnarok!

Above row: "Disaster of the Gladden Fields" Battle, Monday, June 23. Both sides won when on the offensive. The first successful Ringbearer was Sir Trent of the Gesteguiste. The successful Ringbearer for the Rome/Dominion/Dark Angel team was Shadow of the Dark Angels. 150+ fighters!
Above: The "Sack of Nargothrond" Battle, Wednesday, June 25. The Aratari team won decisive victories both attacking and defending (after crushing defeats the previous day at "Osgiliath"). 170+ fighters!
Above and below: Battle of Sudden Flame, Friday, June 27. The Aratari managed to secure and hold a fort as the attacking team, for a draw. Defending, the Aratari were driven from their forts, never to regain a foothold. 190+ fighters!
